Book Review: Glitch

Glitch is an amazing book about two young time-travelers in training and how they end up saving their academy and consequently, the world. With exciting action and compelling mysteries, this book is sure to keep you turning pages.

Regan Fitz thought Eliot Mason was an annoying know-it-all, and he thought Regen was a stuck up princess. But when an unusual letter threatens to destroy both of their futures, will they find a way to work together to preserve past events? Or will they and many others die in the process?

This is a great book that I would recommend to anyone. This is the first book by Laura Martin that I've read. I've seen great reviews of another one of her books called Float that seems to be popular, so if you like this book, you might like her other one too.
There are several reasons why I like this book. First of all, I love the aspect of mystery it gives at the beginning. After one of the main characters, Regan, finds a letter from her future self, she uses the hints from that letter to help her throughout the rest of the book. Another reason I like this book is the fact that the chapters go back and forth between two main characters that dislike each other in the beginning, but become friends in the end; which brings me to reason number three. I think that it's cool to see their relationship change from enemies, to partners, to friends. I can only think of one thing I don't like about this book, and it's that it ends on a cliff hanger. This definitely isn't a reason not to read it, although I was bummed though that there was not another book in the series. (At least not yet.)

Honestly, I think this book is great for all ages, and although it is a kids book, I've heard of older people enjoying this book too. The recommended reading age however, is 9-13. The reading level is 4-8.

As I said earlier, I would recommend this book to anyone. It is a great read and on my favorites list, so, that being said, I give this book five stars.
